For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of all out tasks, the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation. Love is at first not anything that means merging, giving over and uniting with another (for what would a union be of something unclarified and unfinished, still subordinate?). It is a high inducement to the individual to ripen, to become world, to become world for him/herself for another's sake, it is a great exacting claim upon her and him, something that chooses him out and calls him and her to vast things. I hold this to be the highest task of a bond between two people: that each should stand guard over the solitude of the other.

Saturday July 9th

Noon to 2:30pm: Relationship Issues in the Natal Chart
An in-depth examination of how the natal planets, the asteroid Juno and the Seventh and Eighth House cusps, symbolize a coherency of forces and relationship patterns that become active during intimacy. These forces and patterns express the expectations, fears, needs, excitements, and dreams that support and/or sabotage the personal and shared experience of love, a process that depends on maintaining an interaction between two integrities.

3pm to 5pm: The Innate Agendas of the Composite Chart
The Composite chart is constructed from the midpoints between two natal charts and symbolize the innate agendas of the relationship itself. How much is "predetermined" and what can be "created" ? Discover how the Nodal Axis (North & South nodes) represents the karmic contract that draws a couple together in the first place and, the destiny of the relationship itself. How do transits act on the synastry chart ? Other key points will also be analyzed to clarify how longterm commitment can be defined by and for each relationship and by and for each individual.

Sunday July 10th

NOON TO 5pm: The Composite Chart Clinic (45-min. break at 2:15pm)
This afternoon will be dedicated to an interpretive clinic of those charts -- natal and composite -- that everyone brings in for open analysis, by myself and by those in the group. This is a unique opportunity to discover the multiple perspectives that can create the bigger picture perception so often lacking in relationships. If you wish a composite chart constructed for you, bring the birth information of both parties in on Saturday and I will have the relationship chart ready for you by Noon the next day (at no cost).
